| There's a potential NBA Finals preview on Thursday when the Cavaliers welcome the Warriors to Quicken Loans Arena (8 p.m. ET). Line: Cleveland -3.5 , Total: 214.5 Cleveland and Golden State are the top two favorites to win the NBA Championship, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. The Warriors have the best record in basketball, and while the Cavs rank just ninth, they've been red-hot of late. Cleveland (36-22 SU, 29-29 ATS) has won three-straight games (3-0 ATS) and is 17-2 SU (15-4 ATS) in its last 19 overall. Those two losses came on the road and were both the second half of a back-to-back. The Cavaliers have won 10 in a row (9-1 ATS) at home and are playing there for the first time since Feb. 11. Coach David Blatt is coaching with confidence after being embattled earlier in the year. Kevin Love (16.9 PPG) is still up-and-down, but LeBron James (25.7 PPG) and Kyrie Irving (21.6 PPG) seem willing to do whatever it takes to win on a given night. Irving's defense on Stephen Curry (23.8 PPG) could be the key to this game. The Warriors (44-10 SU, 33-20-1 ATS) started their six-game trip with a loss at Indiana (104-98 as 4-point favorites) on Sunday, followed by a win at Washington (114-107 as 6.5-point favorites) on Tuesday. Curry missed the Pacers game with a sore foot, but bounced back with 32 points (11-of-18 shooting) against Washington. Golden State has the third-best ATS record in the league, although is much stronger at home (19-6-1) than away (14-14). Coach Steve Kerr has his team ranked second in offensive efficiency and first in defensive efficiency. This defense makes a lot of switches and Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala will all get turns trying to stop James. These teams met in the Bay Area on January 9 with Golden State winning 112-94 as 13.5-point favorites. James was out injured, and it was before Cleveland started its recent run. The Linemakers' lean: The Warriors continue to win, but they've been playing below their rating, having covered just two spreads in their last seven games. Golden State is gradually falling back to the pack from a power rating perspective. The Cavs, meanwhile, are ascending, and the short price tonight is enticing. We'll lay the 3.5 with the better team that still has plenty to prove. Cleveland -3.5 or -4 is the play.
