Swinging for the Fences: Magic Sign Dedmon, Thomas Rookies Dewayne Dedmon and Adonis Thomas are just beginning to live up their sky-high potential. The rebuilding Magic signed both on Tuesday, hoping to strike gold as the season winds down. Defending NBA Champs Sign Liggins With his signing on Tuesday, DeAndre Liggins becomes the first player called up from the Skyforce to the Heat since they entered a one-to-one affiliation -- a sign that Miami has found a true minor-league partner. Grantland's NBA D-League Week The NBA D-League will be spotlighted all week long as part of Grantland's "NBA D-League Week," which started with a story on the fascinating style of basketball being played in Rio Grande Valley. Idaho's Bost Named Performer of Week After averaging a triple-double (20.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 14.5 assists) in two games, Idaho Stampede point guard Dee Bost has been named the NBA D-League Performer of the Week.
