| With both best-of-five division series wrapped up in each league, we shift our focus to the American and National League Championship Series and the Fall Classic. Ahead of LCS play, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has installed the Baltimore Orioles as the 2-to-1 favorite to win it all, with the St. Louis Cardinals following closely at 5-to-2 odds. The Giants and Royals are both priced at 3-to-1, and the closeness of the numbers suggests the World Series is anyone's to win. In the ALCS, Baltimore opened at the SuperBook as the -140 favorite, with Kansas City getting back odds of +120. At the South Point, St. Louis opened at -130 to win the NLCS, with San Francisco the +110 underdog. This is the fourth straight season the Cardinals are in the NLCS, and two of their previous three appearances have resulted in World Series berths. The Giants, meanwhile, continue their pattern of advancing to this stage in even-numbered seasons. In fact, they went on to win the World Series in 2012 and 2010. The last time we witnessed a senior circuit championship series without the Cards or Giants was 2009, when the Phillies topped the Dodgers.
