| With Darrelle Revis on his way back to New York , the Jets' odds to win Super Bowl 50 saw the biggest adjustment of any team after a wild first day of NFL free-agent signings and trades. At the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, the futures price on the Jets was moved from 100-to-1 to 40-to-1. The Jets also made a trade with the Bears for WR Brandon Marshall , but the Revis move accounted for the bulk of the odds adjustment, SuperBook assistant manager Jeff Sherman told The Linemakers on Sporting News on Wednesday. Despite losing Revis to their division rival, the Patriots' Super Bowl odds remain unchanged at 5-to-1. Public bettors love to back New England, according to Sherman, so the book saw no need to raise the price on the Super Bowl champs. The trade of Jimmy Graham from New Orleans to Seattle impacted the odds of both teams. The Seahawks were adjusted from 6-to-1 to 5-to-1 to win their second Super Bowl title in three years --- which makes them the co-favorites, along with the Pats – as the acquisition of Graham addresses the team's primary weakness: weapons in the passing game. New Orleans moved in the other direction on the Westgate's oddsboard, from 25-to-1 to 30-to-1. The Saints drastically underperformed expectations last season and the surprising trade of their all-world tight end has oddsmakers wondering if the team is hunkering into rebuilding mode. The slight tweak to the Packers' number, meanwhile, was a function of shortening the Seahawks' price, Sherman said.
As we reported earlier this week, Ndamukong Suh agreeing to terms with the Dolphins had no immediate impact on Miami's futures price , but the Westgate did adjust the team's number upon taking an overall reassessment of the league after Tuesday's craziness, according to Sherman.
