Vegas calls Home Run Derby a crapshoot

The 2015 Home Run Derby field is a tightly-packed bunch, according to odds posted at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, with eight participants priced between 5-to-1 and 7-to-1 to win the 30th edition of the event Monday night (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The Angels' Albert Pujols, Cubs' Kris Bryant and Reds' Todd Frazier are priced as the three co-favorites at 5-to-1 odds. Frazier will be swinging in front of his Cincinnati fans at Great American Ballpark.

Thanks to a new format, featuring an eight-man single-elimination bracket, the SuperBook is also offering head-to-head first-round matchup props, all of which are priced at or around pick 'em.
